A global tragedy
According to United Nations more than 3 billion people worldwide will be living in unhealthy and unsafe conditions by 2050. Every year natural and man-made disasters force tens of millions of people to leave their homes forever. Uncontrollable urbanization and population growth on a global scale are dramatically changing our habitats. Traditional response systems provided by governments, international relief- and development agencies are highly challenged and often unable to respond adequately to these global dramas.
